The FTP intake pipe is a direct replacement for the original plastic air intake pipe that connectes the intake box to the turbo inlet.
This part is stronger than the OEM plastic design and will not expand under boost. The unit also eliminates the OEM 2nd intake resonator which results in increased sound, turbo response as well as mid-range and top-end power.
